CEASIOM Ongoing Developments

We are currently working on a Python based version of CEASOM which use the Common Parametric Aircraft Configuration Schema (CPACS) and the RCE environment. This new version named CEASIOMpy will replace the current version of CEASIOM (based on Matlab). The first version of CEASIOMpy will be focus on multi-fidelity aerodynamics and aircraft stability. It should allows calculations with the following modules:

  • Datcom
  • pyTornado
  • SU2

CEASIOM Outstanding Issues
CEASIOM and in partiular AcBuilder does not work correctly with Matlab2013a and higher
The latest SUMO releases do not work correctly with CEASIOM.
