A new version of CEASIOM base entirely on python and open-source solution is under development with the joint effort of CFSE and Airinnova. Those developments are performed in the framework of the Horizon 2020 European Project AGILE.

We are currently working on a Python based version of CEASOM which use the Common Parametric Aircraft Configuration Schema (CPACS) and the RCE environment. This new version named CEASIOMpy will replace the current version of CEASIOM (based on Matlab). The first version of CEASIOMpy will be focus on multi-fidelity aerodynamics and aircraft stability. It should allows calculations with the following modules:
