Dear sir/madam

 

 It is my honor to invite you to participate in the international conference on multidisciplinary aircraft design and the second short course for advance aircraft design framework CEASIOM in China, which will be hosted by Northwest Polytechnic University (NWPU, China) and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Sweden), co-organized by Aeronautical Computing Technique Research Institute (ACTRI, China)、CFS Engineering (Switzerland) 、Airinnova Co., Ltd (Sweden) 、ZXLearning.com (China) and CnTech Co., Ltd (China). Renowned scholars will be invited to give theme lectures about the international advanced technology of multidisciplinary aircraft design. After that, Dr. Mengmeng Zhang from KTH, Mr. Aidan Jungo from CFS Engineering and the research scientist of CNTECH will give a short course for advance aircraft design framework CEASIOM. 

CEASIOM is the software outcome of European Union 6th  Framework Programme SimSAC (www.simsacdesign.org), which was a 36-month effort project and funded by more than€5,000,000. It was developed by 17 partners around Europe including Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Sweden), CFS Engineering (Switzerland), FOI (Sweden), DLR (Germany), ONERA (France), SAAB Group (Sweden), EADS and DASSAULT (France).

CEASIOM (Computerised Environment for Aircraft Synthesis and Integrated Optimisation Methods, www.ceasiom.com) is based on virtual aircraft model, aiming on bringing higher fidelity physical-based model and MDO into early design stage. It includes the aircraft geometric parametrization and CAD builder module, automatic mesh generator, variable fidelity aero-database builder module, stability & control analysis module, structural and aeroelasticity analysis module, etc. Using CEASIOM can help the engineers to shorten the design time, increase the design fidelity at early design stage, which commits up to

80% of the life-cycle cost.

 

In July 2015, CNTECH and the development team of CEASIOM in Europe signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement, establishing a partnership and international collaboration: European development team of CEASIOM is responsible to give theoretical/technique support, CNTECH is responsible for CEASIOM Pro development and owns the entire source code.

June.06 – today: EU Horizon 2020 AGILE Project: Aircraft 3rd Generation MDO for Innovative Collaboration of Heterogeneous Teams of Experts, Airinnova, Co., Ltd., Stockholm, Sweden.

Task: Interfacing CEASIOM Tools with CPACS, integrated them into RCE planform to work with other partners to accomplish the MDO process; optimization for the proposed configurations; data fusion. Task 6.2 leader.
